What's New at Bigshoes Durban?

January has been an exciting time for the Bigshoes Team with lots of new developments. The importance of our 5-day training course is being recognised and before the end of the month all of our trainings were already fully-booked! We are currently looking at setting up more training dates due to the demand.

The Durban team is also busy arranging Health Surveys in both registered and unregistered children's homes. The purpose of these would be to assess the general health of the children in care as well as issues related to environmental health.

 

The Bigshoes Team:

In October 2009 we were sponsored a stall at the Essenwood Market as a fundraising and publicity raising event. We raised over R2500 which will assist us in covering our clinic expenses - needles, syringes, rapid tests etc.
