Bigshoes is all about improving the medical care of orphaned and vulnerable children, especially those affected by HIV/AIDS so that they may grow up to fill big shoes!

Why Bigshoes?

You’ve probably all seen little children walking around in adult’s shoes, aspiring to fill them. Bigshoes is all about medical interventions that assist orphaned and vulnerable children, especially those affected by HIV/AIDS, grow up to fill big shoes! Interventions are made at specific “points of vulnerability” in the life space of the child; these include abandonment, institutionalisation, terminal illness and disease. Interventions are made through medical care, training and advocacy.
